SANTOPRENE™ 8281-55MED by Celanese is a soft, non-hygroscopic, specialty and colorable polyolefin-based thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) grade. It is recyclable within the manufacturing stream and shear-dependent. Suitable for processing by injection molding and multi-injection molding. Designed for use in medical and healthcare applications including soft-touch grips, USP Class VI seals and gaskets. SANTOPRENE™ 8281-55MED complies with RoHS and meets the USP (U.S. Pharmacopeia) Class VI requirements for plastics.
